So, in today's post I'd like to show you a drawing of a young woman holding flowers.

Snow White's Choice

 HELLO!

Recently an idea of portraying Snow White was tagging along me. It was nagging me quite intrusively so eventually, I decided to make it come true. 

What may seem interesting it's not the first time I drew a work with Snow White. There's already 6th comic strip from the series "the Four Seasons in Four Frames" on this blog.

Below there's a very first draft of Snow White.

My first idea for depicting princess was showing her holding an apple, and looking curiously at a fruit. But as much as I was staring at my first draft of this concept I was feeling a lack of something. 

4 in 4: A Souvenir from Pisa

So, it's time for 16th comic strip from series "the Four Seasons in Four Frames", 

also known as 4 in 4.

The protagonist of the new one is Summer.

PLOT:

Through the sweet time of holiday Summer is strolling. She's around the Leaning Tower of Pisa when she notices someone's attempt to portray the tower. 

In her mind appears a sudden idea...

As always you shall find the translation of bubbles below the comic strip.

a Portrait of Hikaru Masai

 HELLO!

Today I'm showing one of my aims with a great pleasure

. It is Hikaru Masai's portrait. 

Who is Hikaru Masai? 

She is a japanese singer who nowadays is performing as H-el-ical//. Previously Hikaru Masai was a part of Kalafina. This splendid japanese group disbanded in 2019. They were well-known for their songs composed for various anime series.

Previously I drew also portraits of other members of Kalafina: Keiko Kubota and Wakana Ootaki. I was so eager to draw her as well, but as a result of various obstacles I was leaving this aim over.

The time has come but I decided to change something in a style of portraying.

the Green Eye

     A few days ago I published on my blog with poems a post varied by a graphic the Green Eye. I used it in decorative purposes for a poem which english version is available below a mentioned illustration (original version is THERE).

     A story behind the Green Eye is quite simple. Once I made a photo to my sweet cat and then - out of boredom - I started turning mentioned photography into graphic because I've seen too much potential... I could call it some kind of "training".

the Other Side of a Girl with a Pearl Earring, graphic, 22.03.2020 r.

It is a graphic which happened quite spontaneously. It was based on my last year's sketch inspired by Girl with a Pearl Earring painted by Johannes Vermeer. Obviously during drawing I couldn't help but do it in manga manner (still see some One Piece vibes ❤️).

In the first words I apologise - I didn't make an another comic strip from the cycle '4 in 4' to the end of January. Lots of things happen but I hope I'll publish the next one pretty soon.

Recently I've got a chance to read Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Hound of the Baskervilles. It was a great book and also pretty inspiring. When I stopped on Beryl Stapleton's first appearance I couldn't help drawing her. So I made a sketch on 10th January 2020.

Today I want to show a portrait of a man. This theme became one of my aims because of a major advantage of women pictures on my blog. Initially I couldn't decide who exactly should I portray. But one day - spontaneously - I choose Serj Tankian as a model for drawing.

So, as I wrote this is the last graphic which was based on the Other World. 

Hope you'll enjoy this work... and also my tendency to wordplay. 

I chose violet as a dominant colour for this graphic because of its mysterious beauty.

Keiko Kubota - her portrait

First of all - Happy and Peaceful Easter! ❤️ Second of all - that's another aim (already!) - the next will be portrait of Hikaru Masai - another singer from Kalafina. In this beautiful but windy day I show you a portrait of Keiko Kubota. I made it in the same style like portrait of Wakana Ootaki - also filled with titles of songs (not only from Kalafina but also from FictionJunction). I hope this time they're more visible.
Unfortunately I cut a bit lower part of drawing (where is an inscription: YANE NO MUKOU NI).

Girl with a book

I'm sorry for my long absence on this blog.
I have got so many things to do.

In the end of the year 2017 I wish lots of happiness, health, love, patience and power to make your dreams come true. Happy New Year 2018!

Once I've drawn this young lady who was reading poems for children. Mentioned poems were created by polish poet - Julian Tuwim (1894-1953). To be honest, I couldn't help myself and I drew on a book's cover a cat with an empty bowl. One of Tuwim's poems concerned a kitten which was dreaming about a milk.

Girl is thoughtful. She loves reading but she doesn't like when somebody interrupts her.

Quite understandable.

     This is no secret that I like to listen japanese music - especially, Yuki Kajiura's compositions. In few of her projects like FictionJunction or Kalafina amazing vocalists are participated. And for last week I was drawing one of them - Wakana Ootaki.

   Again - long time no see! Today I'm going to publish my drawing of sculpture. I chose a David made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. But I didn't draw a full sculpture... My drawing is based on a photo of Bernini's sculpture in the catalogue 'the Galleria Borghese. The Masterpieces'.
