HELLO!
Around the Christmas I published a poem concerning kintsugi on my second blog. Kintsugi is the japanese way of fixing destroyed vessels with a lacquer which is mixed with a powdered gold or silver.
I wanted to translate this poem, and show this translation in a form of "the Poetic Graphic".

I wanted to create a background refering to a white bowl with myosotises from a poem. First I needed to do a simple drawing of those blue unforgettable flowers, and then add to them "golden threads".
After lots of experiments a graphic called golden thread emerged.

W ten sposób tworzy się według mnie coś nowego, dusza przedmiotu zostaje zmodyfikowana, a dodatek metali szlachetnych powoduje, że całość nabiera szlachetnego szlifu. Czytałem coś o niej w książce poświęconej sztuce Japonii. Jednak w tym kraju królują precyzyjne i czasochłonne techniki, od drzewek bonsai, ikebany po właśnie takie działania naprawcze.
