HELLO!
Around the Christmas I published a poem concerning kintsugi on my second blog. Kintsugi is the japanese way of fixing destroyed vessels with a lacquer which is mixed with a powdered gold or silver.
I wanted to translate this poem, and show this translation in a form of "the Poetic Graphic".

I wanted to create a background refering to a white bowl with myosotises from a poem. First I needed to do a simple drawing of those blue unforgettable flowers, and then add to them "golden threads".
After lots of experiments a graphic called golden thread emerged.

W ten spos贸b tworzy si臋 wed艂ug mnie co艣 nowego, dusza przedmiotu zostaje zmodyfikowana, a dodatek metali szlachetnych powoduje, 偶e ca艂o艣膰 nabiera szlachetnego szlifu. Czyta艂em co艣 o niej w ksi膮偶ce po艣wi臋conej sztuce Japonii. Jednak w tym kraju kr贸luj膮 precyzyjne i czasoch艂onne techniki, od drzewek bonsai, ikebany po w艂a艣nie takie dzia艂ania naprawcze.
