Lately I was having problems with a project for the next comic strip concerning Spring... And that was a reason why there were lack of posts. I apologize.

For now I decided to show you a graphic which was made a year ago. I experimented a bit. In the end a undermentioned work looks quite surreal and nostalgic.

The basis of a Sky from my Memories was a photography of a sky made during Summer.

Giewont

Hello!

In this post I would like to show a pastel which was made four or five years ago. 

It was a gift for somebody important.

Giewont, pastel on paper.

Giewont (1895 m) is a mountain massif in the west part of Tatras. It's one of the most impressive mountains in mentioned mountain range because of its form resembling a profile of a sleeping man. There's even a legend about a sleeping knight morphed into rocks.

Pastel was inspired by one photography of one tourist book (which name I cannot recall).

Man, don't get annoyed :-)

Hello! 

Well, a title could sound very strange... Especially, for me. In Poland we call this game: "Chińczyk" or "Gra w chińczyka". On the Wikipedia I read that "Mensch ärgere Dich nicht" could be translated as "Man, don't get annoyed". It is really strange.

Now I'm writing about this because I wanted to publish there my drawing - an illustration for one article about games. I entitled my drawing in polish because of sentiment to this game.

I rarely draw men. Maybe I should change it... 

You may be mistaken by blue and yellow colours. In fact, their blouses don't signify a colour of their pawns (girl's pawns are blue).

Hello!

Yesterday, I saw a wonderful colours in the morning... a cloudy sky was amazingly blue and that blue colour created something wonderful with colours of trees (green, red, orange) and with a dark colour of a distant hill...

Yesterday, in the evening I took a pastels and cardboard... and I draw this from my memory! Well, I still consider that my sketch isn't as great as I memorized (for example, the green trees should be more dimmed). 

Oh, yesterday...
