searching for a wisdom

 HELLO!

In the very last post in this year I'm coming to You with quite mysterious drawing I've made.

It all started with an idea of a woman leaning on an owl (particularly the Eurasian eagle-owl was my main inspiration here).

So, I decided to achieve it but only with pencils.

Below there's the net result of my work.

searching for a wisdom, pencil on a paper, 21 x 14,8 cm.

I've created a secession-like smooth frame with ornaments running wild.

Behind the frame there is a lady leaning on an owl. 

It took me a while to come up with an idea for a background. It is quite probable that this background with forests, river, lake, and mountains was an outcome of me gazing at Renaissance paintings ('cause they live rent-free in some part of my mind).

The name for a drawing is searching for a wisdom. 

It's inspired by considering owl as a symbol of wisdom. And wisdom (and also an intuition) is desirable in order to make good decisions in life.
